Wrath Of The Titans
One Line Review:
Short and sweet, but fully loaded.
Sam Worthington manages to be the lead in this film without actually having to say too much. Don’t get me wrong he’s good at the brooding demi god hero, and kicks ass in all the action scenes (more on them later) but still didn’t seem to say much.
Liam Neeson and Ralph Finnes bring the cast up a couple notches, with them both being awesome. They might not have as much screen time as I would like, but still they are awesome.
The knock it out of the park is Bill Nighy. His crazy 10 second cameo is the funniest but best thing about this movie. His accent and his character are great, but don’t blink or you’ll miss it.
Biggest thing with this movie is its not really a movie, it’s one huge long action sequence. Now that might not be a big problem to a stereotypical “man”, explosions and fights galore. The whole Greek god things aswell is still pretty cool.
However this also has a down side. To anyone wanting a bit more in a movie. The other problem is that with the movie not being very long every little action sequence is kinda rushed. Ooo look a chimera battle… Oh its dead. Ooo a minotaur… Nope its dead. Ooo is this the final boss fight….. Nope end of movie.
Recommend: meh, enjoyable once, but not for a rewatch
